Welcome!  I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), specializing as a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). My career in healthcare has been dynamic and transformative.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Prairie View A&M University, 2015

 

Professional Journey

• Began undergraduate studies in Texas in 2010.

• Graduated with a BSN in 2015, gaining experience in intermediate and cardiac intensive care.

• A pivotal medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2018 inspired a shift towards mental health, leading to clinical work in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment.

• Completed a DNP program in 2023, focusing on psychiatric and mental health treatment. My doctoral project involved community engagement with a local domestic violence women's shelter in Fort Bend County.

 

Commitment to Care

I actively participate in professional organizations like the American Nurses Association and DNPs of Color to stay current with healthcare advancements and contribute to the nursing field.
