Professional Overview

As the Director of a Head Start and Early Childhood Development Program, I bring over 22 years of diverse experience, including roles as a preschool teacher, Center Director, and Curriculum and Instruction Education Specialist. My career is characterized by a deep commitment to education and child development, specifically working with children with intellectual disabilities and managing IEP/IFSP referrals.

  • Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies - University of Southern Mississippi (2001)

  • Master of Art in Administration with an Emphasis in Organizational Development - University of Incarnate Word (2007)

  • Pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University, with an expected graduation date of September 2025. Currently serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern

Current Studies

Pursuing a degree in Mental Health Counseling, emphasizing my dedication to supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and enhancing my capabilities in mental health advocacy.

Passionate about creating flavored popcorn and engaging in home crafting projects. I enjoy traveling with my family and spending time with my German Shepherd, Ava, enriching my life with joy and adventure.
